Between Here and Gone

As a Certififed Grief Recovery Specialist, I have created several videos to use in my classes. This one speaks of the many types of losses to which individuals suffer. There are many forms of grief and loss besides death. My hopes are that this video will allow people to acknowledge the losses that have been suppressed in their lives for many years and encourage them to begin the “grief work” needed and available through the Grief Recovery Outreach Program.

Thank you so much for this. I went looking for a video of this today when a friend passed away, and your images fit the best of any I found.

Just a note: The entire album, (by MC Carpenter, also titled “Between Here and Gone”, if anyone is looking for it) has always spoken to me when dealing with grief. “The Age of Miracles” was a touching followup.

@PTcre8art That is absolutely incorrect. This artist is without a doubt Mary Chapin Carpenter and this song was written and sung by her off her beautiful project called Between Here and Gone. This is not Beth Neilson Chapman.

That is definitely Mary Chapin Carpenter, one of my all time favorites!

Nope. “Between Here & Gone” was written and sung by Beth Neilson Chapman. They do sound alike. Check out her music,

It’s beautiful, but at the end it says music by Beth Neilson Chapman, when clearly it is Mary Chapin Carpenter. Oops.

Thank you. Beautiful. I hang on to the wayward angels — especially the one “for just in case.”
