thank you for posting this, i def plan on doing a bereavement study in grad school it hits close to home right now because i have bonded very close with a young girl who reminds me of myself, i’ve know her family since i was born and her father recently passed (basically my uncle) shes only five years old but it breaks my heart to listen to her understanding of death at such a young age. something that i grasped VERY early on.

@Andeano52 I don’t really believe children will be depressed about it the rest of their lives. Some of them won’t even remember. They shouldn’t be given the impression that it’s not something they can move on from. It should be an experience that makes them stronger, not weaker.
