It just so upsetting, how many animals are killed by us. Animals have feelings, they feel pain and grief indeed: elephants, dolphins, whales, dogs, cats, chimpanzee. I wish this 140K people would just kick all the illegal hunters. Fortunately, animals rights foundations amount is growing bigger, hopefully it wil bring a significant result as well.

Elephants and Dolphins are cool.

the only reason animals cant and will never speak to us is because their voice box is different. otherwise, they can communicate by other means such as body language.

Checking the bones…to honor the dead? Or to look for loose change?

MrFrank440 December 9, 2011 at 5:34 am

@Oxylepy Sorry. I should have said most people.

garycalgary December 9, 2011 at 5:59 am

it’s strangely beautiful they are trying to get the scent of their species as a way of paying respects. I am assuming they don’t do it to other animal carcasses.

Oxylepy December 9, 2011 at 6:20 am

@MrFrank440 Depends on the people.Don’t lump everyone together on that one, there are some decent parents.

@cb7pwn Maybe it’s because they see them as ”things” instead of living beings…

Elephants are the only animals besides humans that have a known death ritual.

They remind me of the descriptions of early humans. Give evolution a hundred thousand to a million years and Elephants may be able to speak to us.

cb7pwn December 9, 2011 at 9:41 am

… how poachers can go around killing these things for no reason amazes me.

iamsupaman420 December 9, 2011 at 10:30 am

@megaraptor0 why don’t you do some actual research about it before you speak?

megaraptor0 December 9, 2011 at 10:35 am

@iamsupaman420 no no….

iamsupaman420 December 9, 2011 at 10:35 am

megaraptor0 December 9, 2011 at 10:47 am

There are many animals that feel emotion. But none like elephants.
